SRINAGAR: A three-day workshop on ‘First Aid and First Medical Responders’ began at University of Kashmir on Thursday.
The workshop has been organized by the varsity’s Department of Law in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society (J&K).
Prof Mohammad Ayub, dean faculty of law, introduced the theme of the workshop and also presented the welcome address.
He said special training will be provided to participants during the training sessions. “The idea is to equip the participants with special skills needed to provide first aid wherever and whenever required, especially during natural calamities,” he said.
