Udhampur attack: Army sounds alert after militants flee

Jammu: Army has sounded an alert in Udhampur district to track a group of heavily armed militants who ambushed a Border Security Force (BSF) convoy killing two soldiers and injuring 11 others. Two militants were also slain in the encounter.

Official sources told Kashmir Reader that army has sounded alert and passed on the helpline numbers for any information about the fleeing militants involved in today’s attack on the BSF convoy at Nasru Nallah in Udhampur along the Srinagar-Jammu highway.
