JK Bank commissions Business Unit, ATM in Anantnag

SRINAGAR: The J&K Bank Tuesday opened a fully computerised Business Unit (BU) and an ATM Hub housing two teller machines at Shankerpora and Qazigund, respectively, in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
In a release issued here, the bank said the total number of its BUs has now reached 822.
The bank said its Zonal Head (South), Mohammad Maqbool Lone, inaugurated the Business Unit as well as the ATM Hub in presence of Vice-Presidents Tasaduq Ahmad Dar and Manzoor Ahmad Attar.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head said, “J&K Bank is the state’s most trusted institution, which offers a wide range of tailored products and services to its valuable customers and people at large.”
Dedicating the BU to the people of Shankerpora, he told the gathering of clients that the bank “has come to serve you at your doorsteps to ensure that you avail the best financial products and latest banking facilities”.
The people from the area appreciated the efforts of the bank, saying the opening of the BU will ease off their hardships, it said.
The ATM Hub, according to the bank, is expected to decrease the footfall at BUs and add to the convenience of the people in the area.
“With this Hub, the number of ATMs in South Zone has reached 133,” it said.
