Hurriyat (G) takes out rally to express solidarity with Jammu Muslims

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) today took out a rally to express solidarity with the Muslims of Jammu region, who were being persecuted allegedly by the fanatic Hindu groups.

The rally was taken out after the congregation Friday prayers at the Iqra Masjid, Saraibala here this afternoon, witnesses told Kashmir Reader.

Caryying banners that read “In solidarity with the Muslims of Jammu, Pir Panjal and Chenab Valley,”, the protesters led by senior Hurriyat (G) leaders Altaf Ahmad Shah and Imtiyaz Haider, the protsters chanted slogans affirming their support to the Muslims of the Jammu region.

The rally later dispered peacefully.
