Hurriyats demand probe into Manderbagh youth’s death

SRINAGAR: Expressing grief over the mysterious disappearance and death of a Manderbagh youth, both factions of Hurriyat Conference on Monday demanded impartial probe into the incident.
While expressing its sympathy with the affected family, Hurriyat Conference(G) said that the disappearance and killings of Kashmiri youths have become a routine from last 25 years and “no investigations have been conducted in those incidents till date.”
In a statement, a spokesman of the conglomerate expressed doubt over the nature of the killing of the 16-year-old youth, Owais Ahmad Fafu. “The way he went missing and the way his bead body was located also makes this matter a suspicious one,” the spokesman said.
“This incident should be impartially investigated so that the doubts of his family could get cleared,” the spokesman added.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of Hurriyat Conference (M) expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death and demanded a fair investigation in the matter.
The spokesman while condoling the death of the youth has also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
