Rains, floods kill 13 in PaK

Muzaffarabad: At least 13 people were killed and eight injured, while 10 houses were damaged in floods in various areas of Pakistan administered Kashmir, officials said.
Six taxi-borne people drowned in an overflowing stream in Kasgumah area of Samahni in Bhimber district, while the other seven were killed in various areas of the state during the past three days, disaster management officials said.
They said 20 houses were damaged completely and 80 other partially by heavy monsoon rains, which triggered floods and landslides in several areas.
The Disaster Management Agency has also issued flood alert in view of Met office predicting more heavy rains over the next couple of days.
