BARAMULLA: Cloudbursts hit two separate villages of north Kashmir on Thursday submerging scores of houses.
Panic gripped Kralpora village of Kupwara and Hardshiva village of Sopore when cloudbursts hit both the villages.
Residents of Kralpora village said that the cloudburst damaged dozens of houses and submerged hundreds of kanals of agriculture lands in the ensuing flash floods.
President Traders Federation, Kralpora, Mohammad Amin Mir said that incident took place in the area at about 4 am.
The people of the area were aghast against the authorities for not coming to their rescue after the natural calamity.
Meanwhile, residents of Hardshiva village of Sopore said that the cloudburst hit the village at about 9 am.
They said that about two dozen residential houses were damaged in the natural disaster.
