Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) will hold a protest rally in this capital city against the alleged persecution of the Muslims in the Jammu region by the fanatic Hindu groups.

The peaceful rally will be taken out from Abi Guzar by the JKLF activists led by the chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik at 1:30 pm today, a senior party leader Altaf Khan told Kashmir Reader. He said that the aim of the rally was to denounce the “terror” unleashed by the extremist Hindu groups like RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal in several districts of Jammu region

“This rally has also been organized to protest the criminal silence of the government. They have given free hand to the fanatic Hindu groups to harass Muslims,” Khan said.

He said the participants will also express solidarity with the Jammu Muslims.

“In Kishtwar, youth have been booked for raising slogans. In Rajouri religious flags have been burnt. A deep rooted conspiracy has been hatched by these communal groups. We will fight their plans tooth and nail,” Khan added.
