SRINAGAR: The Reasi campus of the JK Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) Tuesday said it is organising a 3-week Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) under Himayat scheme at Mahore.
In a statement issued here, it said the programme for the unemployed youth will begin July 27.
“The interviews for it will be held on July 23 at JKEDI office Reasi,” it said.
“The candidates will be trained at Mahore by a professional team of JKEDI and special experts. The candidates will also get an opportunity to visit successful entrepreneurial ventures as part of the training programme,” it added.
A special feature of incubation will also be included in which the candidates will be exposed to real life business scenario, it said.
The candidates, it said, will receive training under the Himayat Self-Employment Component—a part of the Skills Empowerment and Employability (SEE) scheme of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
“It promotes enterprise-led livelihoods by imparting training, sector exposure, financial linkages, market linkages, hand holding and mentoring support to aspiring micro entrepreneurs,” it said.
