B’dpora school, Anantnag college hold events

SRINAGAR: Digital India Week concluded at Government Higher Secondary School at Kaloosa Bandipora Wednesday.
During the weeklong celebrations, the students were sensitised about the importance of Digital India programme launched by New Delhi, while various activities were organised to highlight various aspects of the programme.
In the concluding function, the principal urged upon the students to carry forward the message into their respective areas so as to aware general. A symposium and quiz contest was organised on the last day.
Anantnag college organises programmes Anantnag Degree College for Women’s department of Computer Sciences organised an awareness programme and a quiz contents to conclude the Digital India Week.
The event was presided over by Principal Dr Muzaffar Ahmad Khan, who advised the students to make ethical use of digital technology. Various students spoke on e-learning, revolution in communication, e-services, use of digital education in technology, and e-governance. Alia Manzoor, Afshana Akhtar and Mehreena Manzoor of BCA third year, and Aneesa Rehmat of BCA second year won prizes in the quiz competition.
