Azadi camp to break fast together after many years

Srinagar: The Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani has invited Hurriyat (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and JKLF Chief Mohammad Yasin Malik for an Iftaar party to be hosted at his Hyderpora residence on Saturday.

A senior pro-freedom leader said it has been almost after Hurriyat got split in 2003, the ageing leader has invited the two pro-freedom leaders.

In a turn of events, both the factions of Hurriyat and JKLF have agreed to moot joint strategies and work in coordination on issues of concern to Kashmir.

The pro-freedom leaders have decided that this year they would not call a strike for July 13 martyrs day and would take a joint procession to martyrs grave yard Naqshband Sahib to pay tributes to the martyrs.
