SRINAGAR: The upcoming industrial estate at Vessu in south Kashmir will have 176 industrial units, the government said Friday.
“Once complete, the industrial estate, spread over 250 kanals, shall house as many as 176 industrial units, providing opportunity to many prospective entrepreneurs to establish their own ventures,” an official handout issued here said.
It said the Financial Commissioner Industries and Commerce, Khurshid Ahmad Ganie, Friday visited the industrial estate to take start of the work.
With work on the estate in its final stages, Ganie urged SICOP to further accelerate the pace of the work and complete it soon, it said.
Managing Director SICOP, R L Tickoo, and other officers were also present on the occasion.
