SRINAGAR: The HDFC Bank Wednesday relocated its branch in Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwarma district.
The Bank, in a press statement issued here, said the old branch office was destroyed in the September floods.
“The branch has been operating at a temporary location during the past months in order to provide seamless service. The new premises are more spacious and will provide customers with a superior banking experience,” it said.
The relocated branch was inaugurated by Zubair Iqbal, Circle Head of the HDFC Bank, in presence of senior officials of the Bank and local dignitaries.
The new branch is located in Brothers Complex near Masoodi Filling Station, and will be headed by Zeeshan Qureshi.
“We are committed to offering best possible service to our customers at all times. In the aftermath of the devastating flood last year, it was our sincere endeavor to reach out to the local populace and ensure speedy resumption of services, at times at temporary locations,” Circle Head of the Bank said on the occasion.
“We’d like to thank our customers in Jammu and Kashmir for their continued support. It is our privilege to be able to provide them with an even better banking experience by moving our Pampore branch to a bigger and more convenient permanent location,” Iqbal added.
The Bank said the branch will continue to offer customers “world-class banking services” under one roof, ranging from basic services such as Savings Account, Fixed Deposits, Current Account, Mutual Funds, Insurance, Two-wheeler Loan, Auto Loan to sophisticated direct access banking channels such as ATM, Phone-Banking, Net-Banking and international credit and debit cards.
