SRINAGAR: Free medical camps were organized by Sheep Husbandry department at Qaimoh in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district Monday.
During the programmes, the sheep and goat farmers were made aware of the causes and prevention of the recurring diseases in cattle.
The experts who spoke during the cams asked the participants to maintain sanitation in and around the animal sheds to prevent spread of diseases. During these camps, free medicines were also distributed among the farmers while fodder seed kits were also provided to about 80 participants.
Besides the farmers and experts, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Kulgam, and veterinarians participated in the camps.
