MUZAFFARABAD: Kashmiri refugees in Pakistan administered Kashmir Sunday took out protest rally here against the arrest of Hurriyat (G) senior leader and Muslim League chairman Masrat Alam Bhat.
Hundreds of refugees dwelling in camps marched to press club while carrying banners written with anti-occupation slogans. They were shouting slogans against the arrest of Hurriyat leader Musarat Alam.
Rally was organized by Jammu Kashmir Refugee Well fare Organization. Addressing the protesters refugee leader Muzamil Aslam Advocte, Engineer Mushtaq Mehmood, Muhammad Anwer, Qari Abdul Majid, Malik Moheed, Nasir Lodhi and others threatened to cross the LOC en-mass if India continues its “activities against the pro-freedom leaders in Kashmir.”
They demanded that UNO and world community should influence India to release the political prisoners.
They also demanded that government of Pakistan should send a delegation outside the country to aware the international community about Kashmir issue.
