Vodafone launches Global Design Store

SRINAGAR: The Vodafone India Tuesday launched the Global Design Store here for its customers in Kashmir Valley.
In a release issued here, Vodafone said it is the company’ first Global Design Store in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, and also its first-of-its-kind store in the state. Located at Polo View here, the Store “is in line with Vodafone’s ‘Retail of Tomorrow’ initiative to deliver unmatched retail experience to its customers”, it said.
The company said “warm, customer-friendly design, vibrant colours, easy navigation and enthusiastic customer service executives” is what will welcome customers the next time they walk into the Store.
Speaking about the initiative, Operations Head-North of Vodafone India, Bjas Murthy, said in the statement that “the Global Design Store, an innovative approach in retail design, will provide our valued customers a one-stop shop experience platform through its easy and simple design and the welcoming and engaging staff”.
“As a people-centric organisation, Vodafone works tirelessly to introduce innovative concepts, products and services that enrich the lives of its customers,” he said.
The company said the Store offers “live and engaging” retail experience of Vodafone’s wide range of products and services. The Store, it said, has been “specifically adapted and customized” after testing and validating a full suite of customer insights, which are relevant to customer needs in India.
“The customer has always been at the heart of everything we do at Vodafone. The ideology behind Global Design Store is to ensure that any customer who walks into a Vodafone store is made to feel important,” Pushpinder Gujral, Business Head-Punjab, HP and J&K, Vodafone India, said.
“The dedicated counters to service different products offered by Vodafone ensure swift and dedicated service being provided to the customer, something which the customer always wants and values. This facilitates a positive relationship between the customer and the brand,” he added.
