SRINAGAR: J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development Wednesday participated in the first National Symposium on Excellence in Training held at New Delhi.
The event was sponsored by UNDP and organised by DoPT, Government of India at Vigyan Bhawan.
SRINAGAR: The symposium was inaugurated by Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Personnel, Pensions and Grievance.
In the symposium, a National Level Exhibition was held in which State Administrative Training Institutions from all over the country showcased their research and other publications.
J&K IMPARD also participated in the exhibition and showcased around 48 printed publications on various subjects of economic and social relevance.
The counter set by the Institute in the Exhibition was personally visited by the Dr Jitendra Singh, who showed keen interest in the publications displayed and enquired about the working of IMPARD.
A team of three senior Faculty Members comprising of Prof Mushtaq A Khan, Prof Sunita Zalpuri and Prof Reva Sharma headed by Director General IMPARD Suresh Kumar represented the institute at the symposium.
