JK Bank organises camps

SRINAGAR: J&K Bank Tuesday said it conducted various financial literacy and credit counseling camps in north Kashmir’;s Bandipora district during the last night.
In a press statement issued here, it said the events were held in Bonakoot, Gulshan Chowk, Bandipora, Hajin, and Sumbal areas of the district. Speaking at these camps, Facilitator FLCC Bandipora, Abdul Satar Najar, educated the participants about the benefits of the PM’s Jan Dhan Yojna, it said.
He also discussed the Bank’s products including various loan schemes, talking about the formalities to be completed by the clients, it added.
The Bank said its Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Bandipora concluded an 11-day Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme.
About 43 candidates participated in the programmed that was sponsored by DIC and KVIB Bandipora, it said.
State Director (KVIC) V S Bagul was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Lead District Manager, Reyaz Hassan Baba, Development Officer KVIC, A M Zarger, District Coordinator KVIC (Bandipora/Ganderbal), Reyaz Ahmad, Facilitator FLCC, A S Najar, were present in the valedictory session, it said.
It said the Director RSETI, Mir Pervaz Ahmad, highlighted the achievements of Institute and discussed the quality of training provided to the trainees.
