Srinagar: Government on Monday said six-month Darbar will close in winter capital on April 24 and reopen in summer capital on May 5.
“The offices observing five-day week shall close in Jammu on 24’h April, 2015 (Friday), after office hours and the Offices observing six-day week shall close on~ April 25 after office hours. All the Offices shall reopen in Srinagar on May 5,” said commissioner General Administration Department M A Bukhari.
It has been ordered the offices shifting to Srinagar will send their advance parties on April 20, consisting of one gazetted Officer and four to five non-gazetted employees, who will receive the records here, Bukhari said.
He said the office moving in camp shall carry only 33 percent of the staff strength in the particular Office or 10 Officials, whichever is minimum.
Police have also been directed to escort the employees’ buses and the records convoy all along the route up to their respective destinations, Bukhari said.
“The state-owned SRTC will make available sufficient number of buses,, for transportation of Kashmir-based employees on 25 and 26 April. Also, for Jammu-based employees on May 3 and 4,” he added.
