Panasonic unveils range of ‘Life conditioners’

SRINAGAR: Panasonic India is offering a range of air conditioners to beat the heat this summer.
In a press statement issued here, India’s home appliance major said it is offering a new range of Life conditioners.
The range, it said, “promises an enriched life to the consumers by introducing technologically-advanced products featuring iAUTO-X, Nanoe-G with PM2.5 air purification, Inverter and Econavi technologies providing ‘A Better Life, A Better World’ to the consumers.”
Available in capacity of 0.75, 1, 1.5 and 2 T models, Panasonic air conditioners are compliant with BEE star rating and are available at 264 exclusive brand shops across the country, the company said adding the price ranges from Rs 24,990 to Rs 67,990.
With an extended line of more than 50 models, it said the wide range of Panasonic Life conditioners are equipped with smart and innovative features and stylish designs to woo the Indian consumers.
“Developed especially for the diverse Indian weather, the Panasonic air conditioners are armed with iAutoX technology that enables 35 per cent faster cooling,” the company said.
It said the air conditioners have been equipped with the econavi technology, which saves up to 35 per cent energy by using the right temperature and humidity levels based on its intelligent sensors.
“Panasonic Inverter AC achieves precise temperature control by varying compressor rotation speed saving up to 50 per cent energy,” it said.
Panasonic said it gives a “new dimension” to the usage of air conditioners in the country with its Nanoe-G technology, addressing the issue of rising levels of air pollutants.
“The nanoe-G technology helps clean the polluted air in the surroundings by emitting tiny water molecules along with OH-radicals which deactivates the bacteria, viruses and allergens, preventing inhalation of toxic air,” it added.
Divisional Deputy Managing Director of the company’s AC Division, Suresh Bandi, said, Panasonic has always believed in offering products that can enhance consumers’ quality of life.
“Our wide range of air conditioners is no exception,” he said. “With the lineup for 2015, we further strengthen our leadership position in the air conditioners segment.”
He said the company is, this season, looking at capturing a market share of “12 per cent” with a “20 per cent increase” in sales in this segment. Commenting on the smart range of Panasonic air conditioners, Nikhil Malhotra, Regional Manager North (Punjab, Haryana) of Panasonic India, said, “The smart range of Panasonic Life conditioners comes loaded with technologically advanced features like Econavi and Nanoe-G technology.”
He said the new range has been developed keeping in mind the needs of the consumers across cities including the Tier II and III regions, which have been hit by early summers.
