JKLF marks Jalil Andrabi anniversary with sit-in

Srinagar: JKLF Friday held a sit-in protest at the Pratap Park, LalChowk to commemorate the death anniversary of party leader advocate JalilAndrabi.
In a statement, a Front spokesman said that a peaceful sit-in protest was held against the continuous detention of Kashmiri prisoners languishing in jails across the state.
He said that special prayers were also held at the party headquarter and at all the head offices in all the district for the late party leader.
Meanwhile, party chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik paid tributes to late JalilAndrabi. “JalilulQadrAndrabi was among the pioneers of the Kashmir movement and his replacement is hard to find,” he said.
Malik, who is undergoing treatment at the Fortis Hospital in New Delhi, besides being a worthy jurist and intellectual, Andrabi was a courageous person who sacrificed his life in the way of steadfastness. “The struggle and sacrifice given by this brother of ours has honored us and this nation can never forget his courage, passion and sacrifices. We are duty bound to continue the struggle that has been nourished by the sacred blood of our people like Andrabi.”
