Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani will return to the Valley from New Delhi on April 2, a spokesman said.
In a statement, party spokesman Ayaz Akbar said that after conducting important health checkups and other political and diplomatic activities, Geelani will be coming back to the Valley o April 2.
Akbar said that Geelani has been residing in New Delhi from January and during this period some important medical examinations and health checkups were conducted. “In addition to this, Geelani sahib also remained busy with the writings and currently he is working on a book on Alama Iqbal.”
Akbar said that Geelani also held meetings with some important figures and personalities and presented his stand with regard to the Kashmir issue to them during this period.
