Srinagar, March 25: Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK) Wednesday welcomed the statement of Pakistan foreign office spokesperson stating that “destiny of Kashmir cannot be decided without the involvement of its people.”
In a joint statement, HCJK) leaders including Mushtaq-ul-Islam, uhammad Yousuf Naqash, Shabir Ahmad Dar, and Muhammad Iqbal Mir said that tripartite sustained dialogue was inevitable for the resolution of Kashmir dispute.
“Kashmir is a core issue and its resolution should be prioritized. The need for tripartite sustained dialogue is inevitable as Kashmiris are the prime party to this dispute. Without taking them on board, no solution to this issue can be expected or will be acceptable to its people,” they said in a statement issued to press.
They said that talks with New Delhi were futile unless India officially acknowledges Kashmir as a dispute.
