Worthwhile Gases to operate in Jammu

SRINAGAR: Worthwhile Gases Private Limited (WGPL) Monday announced the launch of its operations in Jammu region of the state.
“WGPL will be launching its nonsubsidized LPG solutions in Jammu. For this, they have already entered into tie–ups for bottling, logistics and regular gas supply,” Chandigarh-based WGPL said in a press statement issued here.
WGPL said it has a “technical and strategic alliance” with international energy solutions provider, Torus Energy Company (USA).
“My Gas, the nonsubsidized LPG that WGPL will be marketing, will come in volumes of 6 kg, 15 kg and 17 kg,” it said, adding that the operations would begin from August.
Managing Director of WGPL, Akshay Jain, said “WGPL is rapidly expanding its distribution network in north India and this announcement will magnify our presence in Jammu and Kashmir as well. All efforts are and would be dedicated towards reducing the waiting time of customers and delivering high quality energy solutions”.
He said WGPL aspires to bring LPG to every household in India, and to make nonsubsidized refilled cylinders available to the consumers at “competitive prices”.
The Company, Jain said, would be coming up with a network of dealers in the region in the current year.
“For each dealer WGPL is projecting 5,000 customers who will avail our services. It has been left to the dealers to get customers,” he said.
