Police holds interactive sessions

Srinagar: Police on Sunday held meetings with the general public at Nigeen and Bemina areas here.
In a statement, a spokesman said that a police-public meeting chaired by Superintendent of Police (Hazratbal) Rayees Mohammad Bhat was held at police station Nigeen.
“Delegations of people from Hazratbal, Nigeen, Ashai Bagh, Saida Kadal, Kanitar, Saderbal,Habak and Tailbal attended the meeting and interacted with the officials and highlighted various public issues.”
He further said that another meeting chaired by SDPO West Iftikar Talib was held at police post Bemina.
The spokesman said that a large number of persons belonging to Boat man colony, Mansoor Colony, LIG Colony Bemina areas participated in the meeting .
During the meeting detailed discussion on the issues like social evils, drug abuse, scarcity of essential services etc was conducted, he said.
