Alam hails Drabu for presenting ‘all-inclusive’ budget

Srinagar: PDP senior leader Mohammad Khurshid Alam Sunday hailed Minister for Finance, Dr Haseeb A. Drabu for presenting a “people friendly budget.”
In a statement, Alam said that the contents of the budget 2015 presented by the new dispensation reflects the commitment of the new government.
Terming the budget as ‘all-inclusive’, Alam said that it has taken all the section of society on board.
He added that the “novel measure taken by the finance minister in saving the girl child and extending helping hand to poor and destitute has indeed expanded the constituency of peace in Jammu and Kashmir.”
“The package for the flood-hit Kashmir to put it back on gear is appreciating and at the same time has unmasked the claims of the previous rulers who not only exploited the people but also denied them the rights they deserved.”
Alam said that the measures of putting end to the power crises by introducing a separate power budget from next fiscal will not only end power woes but will play as a “decisive factor in wining peoples’ trust.”
“The world has come to know that the begging bowl syndrome is ending and history is in the making. This budget will be written in history as the most remarkable step in the initiation of a new beginning,” Alam said.
