SRINAGAR: The state government has spent Rs 67.21 lakh under various plans in the Lolab constituency of north Kashmir during the past athree years.
“An amount of Rs. 67.21 lakh has been spent under District Plan, BRGF, BADP and Technology Mission in Lolab constituency during last three years,” Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, said Friday while replying to a question by Qaiser Jamsheed Lone in the Legislative Council.
The expenditure under Command Area Development (CAD) includes Rs 21.89 crore in 2011-12, Rs 29.80 crore in 2012-13 and Rs 22.47 crore in 2013-14 in Kashmir division while Rs 17.57 crore, Rs 25.37 crore, and Rs 25.70 crore, respectively, were spent in Jammu division, the Minister said.
He said CAD is a “farmer friendly scheme” and assured that measures will be taken to enhance the funds.
