“Besides 78 passenger buses nearly 3500 light motor vehicles were allowed to move towards Srinagar today,” IG Traffic JP Singh told Kashmir Reader.
2700 trucks carrying essential supplies were also allowed to move towards Srinagar in the evening, he added.
Singh said on Friday, only stranded passenger vehicles will be allowed to move towards Srinagar in the morning (7 am to 10 am).
However, there will be no movement of traffic from Srinagar to Jammu, he said.
