Jammu: Around 25 army soldiers were injured Tuesday when the vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident on the Jammu Poonch highway near bordering Rajouri district.
The army vehicle which was on a training exercise met with the accident near Kalsi in the Nowshera area of Rajouri district.
Because of the bad road condition due to continuous rainfall in the areas, the driver lost the control and the vehicle fell in a gorge, reports said.
Four of the seriously injured were evacuated to Udhampur command hospital for treatment whereas others received treatment at the local hospitals.
The injured include a Junior Commissioner Officer.
