Govt forms panel on warden appointments in advisory boards

Srinagar: The state government Friday ordered constitution of a committee about appointment of Wardens, Assistant Wardens in various State Advisory Boards.
“In supersession of Govemment Order No. 1501-GAD of 2006, dated 11.12.2006, Government Order No. 657-GAD of 2013, dated 22.04.2013, and Govemment Order No. 1185-GAD of 2013, dated
21.08.2013, sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of the Committee to recommend appointment of Wardens, Assistant Wardens in (a) Gujjars & Bakerwals Hostels (b) Hostels under the Advisory Board for Pahari Speaking People and (c) Hostels under the Advisory Board for the Welfare and Development of Other Backward Classes,” a government order said
The members of panel include administrative Secretaries of GAD (Convenor), Social Welfare Department, School Education Department and Secretary of the concerned Board.
“It is further ordered that GAD shall obtain a panel of eligible Lecturers, Head Masters, Masters with
outstanding service career from School Education Department for their posting.”
The orders of deputation of Wardens and Assistant Wardens shall be issued by the GAD after seeking approval of Chief Minister (Chairman of the Advisory Boards). “The tenure of deputation of Wardens, Assistant Wardens shall be two years and in no case, it shall be allowed beyond three years.”
