Two drug peddlers arrested in Kulgam

Srinagar: Police on Tuesday said that they have arrested two persons and recovered two kilograms of Charas from their possession at Wanpow area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
In a statement, a police spokesman said that acting on a specific information, a police party led by of DySP headquarters Irsahd Hussain Rather intercepted a Tavera vehicle at Wanpow.
“On search of the vehicle 02 Kilograms of charas was recovered.  Two people Kursheed Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Nabi Dar of Tulkhana and  Danish Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rehman Dar of Sangam, were arrested.”
Police has registered a case under section 8/20 NDPS Act and further investigation were taken up, he added.
