Muzafar Khadim passes away

Srinagar: Renowned religious and literary figure of Kashmir, Mohammad Muzaffar Khadim, passed away on Sunday after brief illness.
Khadim held a special place in religious, social and literary circles. He was son of a renowned educationist Ghulam Mohammad Khadim. His book ‘Falah Kay Moti’ was praised a lot in social circles.
Various religious and pro-freedom groups expressed grief over the demise and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family members.
In a statement, JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik said that Khadim’s services to the nation will always be remembered. He also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members.
President of Jamiat Ahle-Hadith Ghulam Mohammad Butt Almadani also expressed grief over the demise of Khadim.
In a statement, Bhat said that Khadim was a thorough gentleman, a religious figure, pious Muslim and a literary person of high immense.
“His father late Ghulam Mohammad Khadim (ex- principle of Islamia School) was also a highly dedicated socio/educationist.”
Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson Syeda Asiya Andrabi expressed grief over the demise of Muzzafar Khadim.
Andrabi said that she started her association with the movement in the Darasgah started by Khadim at Sazgaripora as a teacher.
“He was like my elder brother and always encouraged me. He was a pious, able and courageous man and always fought against the vices in the society,” she said in a statement and beseeched almighty Allah to bestow Jannah upon him and give patience to his family.
