KCCI asks CM for deputing ministers to access flood rehab

SRINAGAR: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry(KCCI) in a specially convened meeting on Tuesday has called upon Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed to depute a high powered group of Ministers to Kashmir valley to assess the measures taken for immediate rehabilitation of the flood hit business community and other flood sufferers.
In a statement issued by KCCI, its president Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad has said that that rehabilitation and revival issues faced by the business have not so for been addressed in an effective manner so as to bring solace to the flood affected people.
He further stressed that the representatives of the trade commerce and industry bodies be associated with the proposed group of Ministers to workout effective solution to the problems and fair dispensation of the relief and revival packages.
