Drug peddlers arrested

Srinagar: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers at Parimpora and recovered 615 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from their possession.
In a statement, a police spokesman said that police established a naka at Parimpora during which they arrested two peddlers Mudasir Ahmad Khan son of Nazir Khan of Sherwani Colony Khawajbagh, Baramulla and Syed Tadris Qureshi son of Shafi of Lalbazar and recovered 615 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from them.
He said that it was fifth FIR registered against drug peddlers in this month. “During this month more than 10,000 tablets of Spasmoproximon and 815 bottles have been recovered so from the peddlers,” he added.
