Srinagar: National Front chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan Sunday demanded immediate release of youth languishing in various jails across India.
In a statement, Khan while expressing grief over the demise of Ghulam Ahmad Mir, a resident of Barna Bhag village of Kangan area said that one more father (Mir) left for heavenly abode with meeting his son who is under detention from past four years. “Late Ghulam Ahmad Mir’s last wish was to see the face of his son, Muzaffar Ahmad Mir who is jailed since more than four years,” he said.
He said that there were hundreds of Kashmiri ailing parents whose sons were languishing in jails across Indian.
“There are examples where dozens of parents passed away while waiting for their sons.
