Srinagar: Army on Sunday organised a medical and veterinary camp in Pulwama, a spokesman said in a statement.
He said the camp was organized under aegis of army’s Chinar Corps. “As many as 290 locals were provided medical assistance. Apart from this, 178 livestock were also treated by the veterinary officers,” he added.
The spokesman said that an awareness campaign was also conducted at the venue where health and mitigation measures on the issue like hygiene and sanitation were discussed.
