SRINAGAR: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Farooq Shah Srinagar Sunday reviewed the financial progress made under District Plan under various sectors.
“It was given out in the meeting that an amount of Rs 1663.65 lakhs has been expended under the current fiscal till date,” an official handout issed here said.
The DDC asked the officers to attain the “tangible targets” within the stipulated time, it said.
“He stressed for judicious utilization of resources for facilitating the people, besides making them aware about the schemes being launched for their welfare,” it added. Asking officers to be available for the people, Shah stressed on the need for helping in setting up of income generating units especially in the fields of sericulture, agriculture, dairy farms and floriculture, “so that the educated unemployed youth shall prove their mettle in these fields,” it said.
