KU holds social service camp

Srinagar: University of Kashmir Friday organised a social service camp for devotees visiting Hazratbal shrine on the eve of Friday following Eid Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W).
In a statement, a spokesman said that the camp was organized by department of Students Welfare.
Dean Students Welfare Prof. Nilofar Khan and Deputy Chief Proctor Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Wani personally monitored the preparations in the camp.
“It is a part of our social responsibility”, registrar KU, Prof. Zaffar Ahmad Reshi said.
The spokesman said that the registrar expressed satisfaction the way DSW served the devotees. DSW KU Prof. Nilofar Khan thanked the volunteers, staff and administration.
Besides others Deputy Director DIQA Showket Shafi and Shahid Ali Khan, Cultural Officer, KU were also present and served tea to the devotees.
