Not concerned about who comes to power: HCJK

Srinagar: The Shabir Shah-led Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir(HCJK) Friday said that it had no concern with who forms the government in the state.
“Some sections have misrepresented our statement. We want to make it clear that whosoever sits on ruling chair, be it Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, Omar Abdullah or anyone else, they are the different faces of the same coin and we have nothing to do with their so-called government formation,” a party spokesperson said in a statement.
The latest statement came as a clarification to the statement issued by party leader Shabir Shah . Shah on Thursday had said that “People didn’t vote for PDP to ally with BJP”.
The spokesman, however, said that all pro-India parties “were responsible for killing of innocent people of Kashmir and their hands are smeared with the blood of our youth.”
“The pro-India parties are on the pay rolls of New Delhi. They neither are the well wishers of people nor do they hold any positive stand or role with regards to Kashmir issue,” he said.
He said that during the recently concluded elections “conducted under the shadow of gun”, HCJK had clearly put forward its position. “We called for boycott of polls and those who participated are nothing but agents of New Delhi,” he alleged
“Though all pro-India parties are exhibiting stubborn policy with regards to Kashmir issue, the BJP has much more wicked plans in this regard. They have serious anti-Muslim agenda and want to fulfill those plans by coming to power. For us all these parties are same and there is not an iota of difference between them,” he added.
