KP employees without salary for 4 months

SRINAGAR: Nearly 1400 Kashmiri Pandits inducted into government services under Prime Ministers Package are without salaries from the last four months.
Kashmiri Pandits residing in Sheikhpora colony said that government has failed to disburse their salaries for last four months, resulting in financial crisis, local news agency CNS reported. President of P M Package Employees Association Sanjay Raina said that they were assured about release of salary by the authorities, but the promise has not been fulfilled.
He said that the Kashmiri Pandits employees working mostly R&B, Tourism, Social Welfare, Medical Education are facing severe financial problem on this account. He appealed the heads of departments to disburse their salaries.
