Srinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home minister Rajnath Singh will visit the Valley and canvass for BJP candidates in the second phase of Assembly polls.
Modi will arrive in the Valley on December 6 and address election meetings at Srinagar and Anantnag, while Rajnath will address poll rallies in Karnah, Pahalgam and Uri on November 28, BJP’s state vice-president Ramesh Arora told reporters on Monday.
Arora, however, didn’t announce the venue of Modi’s election meeting as the security clearance is yet to come.
“We have applied for the venues. Once we will get clearance from the government, we will make it public,” he said.
