SRINAGAR: The Coaching Association of Kashmir (CCA) has welcomed the government initiative to regulate the working of the coaching centers during the winter season.
The association extended their full support to the district administration and director School education for the smooth conduct of winter session. “The government forwarded us many regulations and we treat it as a welcome step as such kind of proactive approach towards the regulation of coaching centers would ultimately benefit student community,” said G N Var, chairman CCA. “We have many meetings with the administration and we have extended our full support to their initiative.”
The association said that any coaching center violating the rules laid down by the director of school education. “If there is any bad fish in the pond the government should take action against them and we would also disciplinary action against the center from our side,” said Var.
The association asked the parents and community members for support in making a conducive atmosphere for the students. “Whatever be the problems associated with coaching centers can be controlled with active support from parents and community members. The parents should keep a watch on the timing of their wards and always be in touch with respective coaching center management,” said Var. “In case of any complaint the local community members should immediately meet the coaching center management and seek a solution.”
The association asked the people to desist from parking their vehicles in front of coaching centers and not to allow unnecessary congregations at these places. “The flying squads should be constituted not only in Srinagar but in other districts too so as to eliminate the menace of eve teasing and enforce other rules,” said Var. “People should also keep a watch on such activities so that remedial measures could be taken in cooperation with civil administration, police and coaching center administrators.”
