JKTF defers pen down strike

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum Wednesday said that they have deferred the two day pen down strike.
In a statement a spokesman of the forum said that a high profile team of JKTF lead by A. Q. Wani along with Ganesh Khajuria, Mohammad Afzal Bhat and others discussed the issue of non-payment of salaries and irregularities related to it with the highest officers of education department especially with principal secretary, finance, secretary to government school education, Nirmal Sharmal, Director SSA, Shamim Ahmad Laharwal, director finance, school education Department.
In the meeting held in Jammu secretariat the government officials assured JKTF that the salaries of SSA/RMSA teachers will be released in next ten days.
“Taking in view the promise of higher officials we have deferred the pen down strike upto Nov 30,” spokesman said.

    the higher officials were always saying salary of ssa rmsa will be released within next ten days from last three months what is new in it today by which you deffered the strike either you are not sincere or you are not in a position to keep you promise,stop this and try to deliver
