PC gave mandate to ‘clean’, ‘respectable’ youth:’ Sajjad

SRINAGAR: The People’s Conference (PC) Monday said it gave mandate to “clean, respectable and dynamic youth with good reputation” to achieve its “mission of change” in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The first step in the struggle for change is to bring people with clean image into politics to serve the people better. Our commitment is to bring reforms in the present system, which has held hostage the overall development of the state,” PC Chairman Sajad Lone said a statement issued here.
He said it is for the people to decide whether to follow “the traditional practice of voting for the family rule of Muftis and Abdullahs or to bring in a real change by giving new and dynamic faces, who personify energy and enthusiasm, a chance.”
“This is the best chance for Kashmiris to throw out the deadwood from politics and bring clean people to the fore,” he added.
