Mufti promises Kashmiris honour sans azadi

Baramulla:People’s Democratic Party patron Mufti Saeed Thursday said his party can’t promise azadi (freedom) to the people of Kashmir  but will fight for their “honour.”
“We will not promise you Azadi but we will fight for  your honour,” Mufti said while addressing party workers at Dak Bunglow here.
“If people don’t support PDP it will be their loss  as our party is full of honest people,” he said.
Mufti said  PDP was in politics only to provide justice to  people.
Mufti said  PDP wanted bilateral ties between India and Pakistan to improve as that would benefit Kashmiris.
Senior  PDP leader and Member Parliament Muzafar Hussain Beigh, MLA Sangrama Basharat Bukhari, PDP candidates Nazir Ahmad Nayko, Javid Hasan Beigh,  Imran Ansari and Raja Ajaz were also present on the occasion.
