Senior Cong leader joins BJP

Baramulla: Former state secretary and district president Congress Mir Mushtaq Nowsheri of Uri Wednesday joined Bhartiya Janta Party.
Taking to Kashmir reader after joining BJP, Mushtaq accused Congress of becoming fiefdom of few families in Kashmir like PDP and NC. Mushtaq left Congress party after serving it 33 years.
Meanwhile people of Uri expressed their shock at his joining the BJP. People believe that Mushtaq joining other party is set back to Congress leader Taj Mohiuddin in Uri.
In other election related development a Kashmir Development Front candidate from Baramulla constituency Mohammad Anwar Khan said that will be the part of next government in Kashmir whatever the results are.
Addressing a rally he said his party is sure to secure at least 10 seats in coming assembly elections. Youth president KDF Junaid Ahmad, national coordinator Jaydeep Singh, Farooq Ahmad and other leaders also addressed people during the rally.
