Missing Kashmiri youth yet to be traced

Baramulla: A 26 year-old Kashmiri youth who is missing in New Delhi since October 22 is still untraced.
Station House Officer (SHO) Boniyar, Mureed Hussain said, “We are in touch with his family members and Delhi police who are also searching him. His cell phone is switched off from the date he was reported missing. Delhi police checked almost every possible place to locate him but they have failed to find him out.
Kifayat son of Mohammad Sadiq Khan of Rampora village of Uri had gone to New Delhi with his truck on October 18. According to his cousin Hafiz Khan, Kifayat on October 22 went to Azadpur mandi but did not return. Kifayat’s driver immediately informed his relatives about his disappearance. Following the disappearance news Kifayat’s brothers immediately boarded the next plan to New Delhi and launched a search hunt, Hafiz said.
“They lodged a missing report in Azadpur police station. But they haven’t been able to find any traces of him,” said he.
