Srinagar: In an embarrassment to Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) Kashmir, its Deputy General Manager Wednesday was summoned to the office of District Magistrate Srinagar over poor connectivity services.
The happening took place after complaints about the poor services of the telecom company piled up. DM Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Shah told Kashmir Reader, “The issuance of a warrant against the BSNL officials was necessitated after complaints against the government owned telecom company were piling up. The company has not fully restored communication network here.”
He said, “The BSNL official give me assurances that the restoration will be done within the fortnight.”
Shah said that the official also informed him about the loss to machinery to the company and the process of installing new one.
“He assured me that once the machine is installed it will make the communication network functional again,” said Shah.
