No Diwali sweets exchange in Uri

Baramulla: Following the escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan along the border, there was no exhancge of sweets between the two sides along the Line of Control here.
Reports said that Border Security Forces (BSF) and army from Indian side and Pakistani rangers did not exchange sweets and greetings with each other on Diwali from Kaman Post area of Uri here in North Kashmir.
Sources said, “It is second time this month that the border forces of both the countries have not exchanged sweets during festivals, first on Eid and now on Diwali.”
A hotline service through Kaman post is also down from the last month.
