2 children, woman injured in Sopore blast

Baramulla: Two children and a woman were injured Sunday when an explosive they were playing exploded in Dangerpora area of Sopore in North Kashmir district.
According to eyewitnesses, “Anzer Fayaz, 7, son of Fayaz Ahmad Para and Muzamil, 8, son of Farooq Ahmad Wani were playing in orchards when they found some explosive. The children tried to break the item when it exploded injuring the two and a lady Dilshada wife of Nazir Ahmad Para in the process.”
All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sopore, Dr Masood Ahmad said, “Three injured people were brought to Sub District Hospital (SDH) in injured conditions. However they were discharged after the treatment since the nature of injury was not serious.”
